Description
After a beautiful afternoon fly fishing rainbow trout at Lyons lake I was chased of by a short but powerful storm. While packing my gear into the car rain has stopped and clouds moved away letting sun shine beautiful low angle beams across autumn landscape creating beautiful scenery. After seeing this beauty the only thing that was on my mind is that I must capture it. After few shots I realised that one exposure just will not cut it so I decided to bracket in order to capture everything that I saw. I made the composition that I wanted but there was still something missing. There was beautiful crisp reflection in the water and awesome color of autumn leaves, composition could not be better but i knew there should be something else in the photo. The wooden dock just seamed empty and not interesting as a foreground. Since I didn't have much time to decide what to use because I was losing light, I decided to pose sitting in a chair and enjoying the view. To the date this is my favorite photograph I ever made and has been published in numerous magazines.
